Arnando “Pookie” Story of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025. Pookie worked as a mechanic and held other jobs throughout his life. He was also honored with an award for being a “Great Grandparent.”

Pookie is survived by his wife, Robin Story, and his sister, Crystal Crosby. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deloris; brothers, Deon and Ronald; and sister, CeCe.

He is also survived by five children: Arnando Story, Shanael Story, Ericka Story, Shawn Story (Shelby Donahue), and Arnando Story II; four stepchildren: Christopher Rogers, Clyde Scott, Chauncia (Scott) Goodrich, and Chauncey Scott Jr.; 28 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
