Clarence was born August 12, 1955 in Jackson, Ms. to parents Clarence Winn, Sr. and Claudel Winn who both preceded him in death. He was the fourth child and the only son.

The family relocated to St. Louis, MO where Clarence attended public schools and graduated from Sumner High School in 1973. He enlisted in the military a year after graduation and served in the US Army and the US Army Reserve from 1974 - 1980. After his military service he was employed with the US Postal Service for several years. He extended his employment working in various labor positions.

Clarence was very loving and caring and known to everyone as “Junior” and “uncle Jun-Jun” to his nieces and nephews. He was the person everyone called when something was needed; repairing, moving, building, painting or figuring things out. He was more than a handyman, he was a dependable presence, a neighborhood uncle and a friend to all. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand and took pride in serving others. His generosity, wisdom and willingness to help made him a pillar to both his family and community.

Clarence leaves to cherish his memory: daughter: Tiffany Winn; bonus daughter: Cecelia Owens; grandsons: Devyhon, Avery, Brennan, Alex, Cecil Jr.; granddaughters: Harley, Evyn Marie; great-granddaughter: Nova; sisters: Alberta, Deneese, Deborah (Larry); Aunts: Aglova Wesley, Katherine Rodgers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
