Derek Renard Duvall was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on February 22, 1966. He was the youngest child born to the late Henry “Heinie” Duvall Sr. and Mattie Duvall.

Derek Duvall better known as “Rump Stomp” nicknamed by his father, later became known as “Whop”.

He was affectionately known for his loving smile, his protective manor and extraordinary personality. He showed loyalty through leadership by being a present father, a trusting brother and friend to many.

He loved his children and loved his family, only believing in loving hard. He was a man of many trades. He had careers within hospitality, construction, father support and later entrepreneurship.

Derek received his education at Sumner High School in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Derek converted his life to an Islamic faith at an early age. Named “Nabi Rakman”

Mr. Derek Duvall leaves to cherish his memory; three daughters, Geneva (Juria), Capri, and Symoria (Stacey) and one son, Mercedes (Lisa); three grandchildren, Davion, Derek Jr, and Darious Williams; one brother, Gary Duvall (Likia, Gary Jr, Terrell), all of Saint Louis, Missouri. His oldest niece Faytreeon Hinton (Treniece) and his oldest nephew Laveil “Spanky” Nalls. He also leaves a host of very close relatives that he fathered and loved very much.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Mattie Duvall and his father, Mr. Henry “Heinie” Duvall Sr.; two sisters, Carol Jean Nalls and Geneva Byrd; his brothers Henry Duvall Jr, Harold Rudy Duvall, Ronald Islom Duvall and Tadaro Taylor; two nephews, Rodney “Lil Whop” Nalls and William “Dinky “ Duvall.
