Joey Volk, 57, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, surrounded by the family who cherished him.
There were things Joey could not do, but his dear caregiver and second dad, Jeff Fraction, always focused on what Joey could do. Jeff lovingly cared for him for over 45 years, giving him a home filled with love, family, good food, and joy. He kept Joey active, living his best life and always looking like a sharp-dressed man.
Joey loved his extended family and leaves behind Jeff, David, Pokey, Jeremy, Marsha, Buddha, Harold, Silas, and Charles. He was fortunate to have two families who loved him deeply: the Fraction Family and the Volk Family.
Joey cherished the simple things in life. He was deeply loved by his parents, Joseph and Marlene Volk, who were married for over 63 years, and by his siblings Carole, Julie, Marybeth, and Greg. He held a special place in his heart for his favorite aunt and godmother, Sister Barbara Volk, as well as for his many nieces and nephews.
Joey will be remembered for his love of trains, railroad crossings, and Christmas.
