Marlene Buretta Volk passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband Joe Volk and children Carole Colich, Julie Baak, Marybeth Thomas and Greg Volk. Her greatest love was Joe -- they were happily married for 63 years. Marlene was a Catholic of strong and enduring faith and throughout her marriage she and Joe started each day by attending Mass. Marlene was loved by many, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her dear son Joey Volk. Visitation at 9 am on Monday, June 23 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 12136 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, Missouri 63141, followed by a holy funeral Mass at 10am and burial in St. Monica Cemetery.
