Robert Lee Wine

Mr. Robert Lee Wine was born on April 10, 1952, to the late Mr. Henry Wines Sr. and Mae Pearl Jones-Wines in Lake Providence, Louisiana. He was educated in the Lake Providence School System.

Robert enlisted in the United States Army, where he faithfully served his country and was honorably discharged in 1974. Following his service, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri. In his spare time, he enjoyed being with loved ones, listening to music, and watching his favorite westerns.

Robert was welcomed into eternity by his parents, Henry Wines Sr. and Mae Pearl Jones-Wines; four brothers: Jesse, Hosea, Henry Jr., and Willie; seven sisters: Jerusalem, Brenda, Ida Mae, Armistice, Liz, Erma, and Faye; and the mothers of his children, Sarah Raspberry and Angela Welch.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters: Vivian Raspberry and Satina Welch; his bonus daughter: Jackie Welch-Brooks; and his bonus son: Deshaun Jones. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Shonjane, Antonio, Sean Jr.., Shadon, Ashley, Deshaye, and Taylor; and his great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by two sisters: Belva (Jean) Wines and Gail Wines; two brothers: Joe Wines and Frazier Vincent; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
